My husband and I had not taken a Road Scholar trip before. We now understand why others speak so highly of the program. The group was a wonderful group of interestng individuals. We had been to Victoria before but enjoyed seeing more gardens and learning the history of the area. The entire experience was more than expected. We are definitely going to book another trip.

A delightful program that exposes participants to the splendors of Vancouver and Victoria. It is all about the gardens and so much more. Diversity on all levels. And as we have found on all our Road Scholar trips, much of the joy comes from sharing the experiences with an interesting group of curious and charming fellow travelers.

as someone else said, this tour is not just for gardeners! Anyone who appreciates beauty, enjoys museums as well, and wants to experience Northwest Canada should go on this trip. Sarah is an amazing leader and even with some rainy weather the experience was fantastic. This is my fourth Road Scholar program and I cannot wait to go on another one. The people I met were wonderful and the accomodations and food were fine. My favorite city was Victoria and the program allows you enough time to explore on your home. Thank you Road Scholar!

I not only learned new and interesting facts about gardens for myself, but several little pieces of information that I will share with my elementary school aged children when I take them on Nature Discovery Hikes at my home town botanical garden.

What a wonderful trip! Our leader, Sara Mitchell, was there for everyone, all the time. The gardens were beautiful and interesting and the special programs on background and history were really special! This one is a winner!
