This was a great program and very educational, if you like birds. We saw well over 90. The instructor was amazingly informative and helpful. She inspired me to learn more about bird markings on my own. I know this summer I will be busy with my binoculars.

I enjoyed this small group program. We did the program in February. The weather was cooler than usual. The group identified 92 birds.

The best part of the program was Ann Wilson our instructor. She is extremely knowledgeable about the local and natural history or the area. She knows her birds but she was also able to identify the jellyfish we found on the beach.

My favorite birding spot was the Woody Pond in Harris Neck NWR. It is a Northern Stork rookery.

The Epworth by the Sea has lovely grounds. The azaleas and camellias were in bloom. The grounds are also a good place to bird on one owns. The rooms are a ittle dated but they are roomy and very clean. The meals are served cafeteria style. However, in the dining room there was a fresh fruit and yogurt bar every breakfast and an excellent salad bar for lunch and dinner. All of the staff were accomadating and helpful when asked.

I enjoyed the lectures and performance but the best part were the actual birding. We had a special treat when the group was birding on the grounds neighbors saw us and told us where we could see an owl nest with owlets. Even the neighbors were accomading.
