This is my first Road scholar trip. The whole experience was not only better than I had hoped it would be...It was FABULOUS. The accommodations where, 5 star all the way. Learning experience was truly valuable. Have been interested in the islands of the Pacific and the ocean itself. Wow,I learned, quickly just how much I didn't know. " I shall return."

This is an excellent program if you are interested in the story of Pacific Ocean exploration and Hawaiian Island settlement from the early days up to the present. You will visit and learn about different locations on the islands. Our tours in Maui got a bit too long and by the time we got back to the ship it was getting dark, we were tired and hungry, and didn't get to see anything of Lahaina. Everything else was as expected. My husband and I both give this trip a "Thumbs Up."

Wonderful program to Hawaii. However, you must enjoy the free time while at sea, because it was quite long.

What a great introduction to Hawaii for first timers! Art Reed gave very interesting lectures every day but there was plenty of time to enjoy the ship as well. As always, a very diverse and interesting group of Road Scholars made the trip extra fun!

If you're into cruising and nature, this is the trip for you. Even a nature novice like me appreciated Art Reed's presentations. You also get the natural and cultural highlights of the Hawaiian Islands in the five days the ship is stationed there.

This program was delightful, a good introduction to Hawaii and made me want to go back again!

A great program for those who love cruises and want to learn about Hawaii and want a taste of what it has to offer.
