EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This program kept us plenty busy, but with ample time for swimming in pool. We experienced behind the scenes at San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld with front of the line privileges for rides except the new Manta. Also went kayaking and built solar powered cars. We were a small group due to attending during 4th of July week, just 7 grandkids and 11 grandparents. The youth leaders were great, particularly Jake, who spent more time with us. The kids loved him. The adult leaders were great also. The accommodations were good and the buffet meals at the hotel were quite good. The only negative to me was the time spent at Seaport Village. Too much of a tourist trap for my liking. Our family would have preferred visiting the USS Midway nearby. But overall I highly recommend this program.

My Granddaughter and I adored being in San Diego together and making new friends. We learned so much, especially about each other! The folks at San Diego State worked hard to put on the best program possible and it showed. Everything about it was excellent!
