Program #4874RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderately Challenging (Variable by Program Date)
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Discover Yellowstone abloom via ecology presentations and four days exploration among some of the region`s 1,150 native species of flowering plants. Several less active, botanist-led wildflower walks each field day offer subtle blooms to blazing glory; Hike 3-6 miles per day among life zones from the northern desert community to areas above timberline. Consider monkshood, pollinators, bears, elephanthead and fringed gentian when Yellowstone showcases its magnificent wildflowers. This program coincides with program #21597 "Adventurous Women on the Waters of Yellowstone" with the same lodgings. This could be an alternative program for a traveling companion who is female or would like the option of seeing portions of Yellowstone on the water.
