Malolo Plantation Lodge: Madang, 3 nights
Type: Lodge

Description: Malolo Plantation Lodge boasts a picturesque seaside setting which looks out over the Bismark Sea with the active volcano of KarKar on the horizon. The lodge is the size that allows personalised service and the small touches that really count. Just under one hour's drive north of Madang, this redeveloped former coconut plantation boasts a relaxed South Pacific style with its extensive lawns and gardens reaching down to the waterfront.

Only 30 minutes drive from the major centre of Mount Hagen, it offers convenience for guests, while still offering the unique and unforgettable ecological and cultural experiences.Rondon Ridge is also on the edge of an untouched karst region, with ten species of Bird of Paradise and an unspoiled environment; there is ample opportunity for those wishing to get up close and personal with the unique ecology of this area.

Sepik Spirit: Sepik River, 3 nights
Type: Other

Description: The Sepik Spirit is a deluxe "floating Lodge". This live-aboard vessel was built in 1989 along the lines of the traditional and sacred spirit house. Originally commissioned as a vessel for cruising the Sepik and Karawari Rivers, the Sepik Spirit is now permanently moored at a strategic site on the Sepik River. In its new role as a "floating lodge" fixed in the middle Sepik, the Sepik Spirit offers greater booking flexibility, enhanced programs and even more comfort. Returning travelers will note the updated decor. As for the Sepik Spirit's renowned hospitality, some new flourishes have been added. From their base on the Sepik Spirit, guests explore the Sepik River and the connecting tributaries and lakes on eighteen seat jet-boats. These boats have shallow drafts and the ability to maneuver where large vessels cannot go

Description: Located at 7000 feet in the Tari Gap area borders on pristine mid montane rainforest at the beginning of the valley grasslands. This location promises the visitor eternal spring weather and magnificent views of the Tari Valley. The forest canopy, a dense mass of interlocking tree tops of all shades of green and the occasional bright splash of color, provides a natural setting and an exhilarating climate for venturing along the nature trails - cross traditional vine bridges, discover a secluded waterfall, and spot high altitude orchids and rhododendrons.
