Description: Located 2.5 miles from the airport, the Westgate hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy Horton Plaza shopping center and trendy restaurants and nightclubs in the Gaslamp Quarter. Designed as a re-creation of an anteroom in the Palace of Versailles, the Grand Lobby is noted for its magnificent antiques, Baccarat crystal chandeliers, Flemish and French tapestries and Persian carpets.

MS Statendam: At Sea, 30 nights

Description: The ms Statendam is the fifth ship to bear the name in Holland America Line's 133-year history. With more than $2 million worth of art and artifacts, the ms Statendam features a theme of Dutch life and exploration. The Van Gogh Theater is a work of art in itself. Themed to Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh's paintings "The Starry Night" and "Irises," the room features computerized fiber optic lighting as well as a state-of-the-art sound system. You can expect fine dining, spacious staterooms, the best in cruise entertainment, relaxing nooks and beautiful art displayed throughout the ship. In the center of the ship, a soaring three-story atrium showcases an elaborate 26-foot-high "Fountain of the Siren" sculpture, which extends from the Lower Promenade Deck to the Upper Promenade. The ms Statendam completed all Signature of Excellence enhancements to her public rooms in Spring 2005.

Room amenities: Your stateroom is furnished with a ship-to-shore telephone which enables you to easily call anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day (prices are found in your stateroom directory). You'll also find ample closet and drawer space, individually-controlled air conditioning, a television for viewing CNN, movies and onboard features. All staterooms, with the exception of the Statendam Penthouse suite, have safes in the stateroom. All staterooms are equipped with standard 110 AC and 220 AC outlets.
