Mr. Dana Visalli

Dana Visalli is a devoted naturalist who works as a rare plant botanist throughout the American west. He publishes a quarterly journal of natural history, runs a children’s ecology summer camp, and maintains an on-going inventory of the flora and fauna of his home watershed. Dana teaches taxonomy classes at home and abroad, and in 2008 gave a workshop in Iraq to Iraqi botanists. He has published three books on wildflower identification, the “Northwest Wildflower Series.”

Mr. Hank Cramer

Hank Cramer is a nationally-touring folksinger and Northwest historian. His life experiences include working as an underground miner, U.S. Army Green Beret, shantyman on a square-rigged sailing ship, and wrangler for a high-country outfitter. Hank has recorded 18 CDs and several movie soundtracks. He has a bachelor’s in history from the University of Arizona, with graduate studies at University of Colorado-Denver and the Army Command and General Staff College.
