EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.

Mr. Bill Montevecchi

Bill Montevecchi is a professor of psychology, biology and ocean sciences at Memorial University of Newfoundland. His research is focused on marine birds, ocean ecology and conservation biology. Bill is the co-author of “Newfoundland Birds: Exploitation, Study and Conservation and created Seabirds – Oceanic Barometers for the Ideas Series of the CBC Radio.” Bill lectures nationally and internationally about avian ecology and conservation.

Holly Hogan

Holly Hogan has been studying and working with birds for over 25 years. She completed her graduate degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland on songbird community ecology and continued with similar work for the Canadian Wildlife Service in British Columbia. Holly’s subsequent work has focused primarily on seabirds and has taken her to colonies all over the East and West Coasts of North America. Most recently, Holly managed Witless Bay and Baccalieu Seabird Ecological Reserves for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. As part of the resource staff team for Adventure Canada for the last four seasons, she has travelled by sea around coastal Newfoundland, Labrador and Greenland.
