Ms. Jenny Sadak

Jenny Sadak has researched global warming in Alaska, surveyed wildlife for the Helena National Forest, studied water resources in Montana and led naturalist programs in Jackson, Wyoming. Today, she works for Trees For Tomorrow and loves to share her knowledge of environmental sciences with learners of all ages. When not spending time with her two young children, Jenny enjoys hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing, travelling and baking.

Melissa Perry

Melissa Perry loves to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for environmental science with students of all ages. A graduate of the University of New England with a degree in environmental science, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin, West Africa, where she focused on women’s empowerment and environmental protection. Since returning to the U.S., Melissa has worked in environmental education across the country from New Hampshire to Alaska. Melissa now has a master’s degree in natural resources from UW Stevens Point.

Mary Beth Factor

Mary Beth Factor began working at Trees for Tomorrow in May of 2015. After graduating with a degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, she taught English to children in Taichung, Taiwan. She then journeyed to Minnesota to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth, and worked as a naturalist at Wolf Ridge ELC. Hailing from Saint Louis, Mo., she never experienced a winter like the upper Midwest, and now owns her first pair of cross-country skis!

Vern Gentele

Raised in Washington state, Vern Gentele has always had a love for the outdoors. His education took him in a different direction, however. He received a Bachelor of Science in education from Dr. Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn., and taught for 13 years. He then returned to school to earn an associate’s degree in natural resources from Fox Valley Technical College. With a love of teaching and a desire to learn more, Vern is excited to be part of the Trees for Tomorrow staff.
