Glenn Moreland

Glenn Moreland began playing the fiddle and guitar in the late 1960's around Austin, Texas. He fell in love with cowboy songs and took up the fiddle in order to learn the tunes that were the favorites of the cowhands. After receiving his B.A. in agriculture from Southwest Texas State University, he worked for the USDA as a cattle inspector, and spent a year in the feed lots near El Paso. For the past 30 years, Glenn has worked on area ranches, as well as the family ranching interests. While working as a cowboy in West Texas, he added many songs to his repertoire, including some that he wrote. He has been nominated by his peers as a performing musician to the Academy of Western Artists. Glenn's quick wit, wry humor and knowledge of cowboy history make him a favorite performer.

Washtub Jerry

Named “Instrumentalist of the Year” by the Western Music Association in 1999, Washtub Jerry is a recognized authority on building and playing the washtub bass. Jerry has performed with Patsy Montana, Yakov Smirnoff, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Riders In The Sky, Peter Yarrow, Johnny Gimble and hundreds of other musicians. He has participated in musical cultural exchanges in Russia, Germany and Ireland, and has authored and published four books. Washtub Jerry is the fifth generation descendant of South Dakota homesteaders, and has lived among West Texas ranchers and cowboys for over four decades.
