Peter Chausse

A Massachusetts native, Peter Chausse is a teacher and passionate local historian in Portland, Ore. Though a position with the U.S. Forest Service originally brought him to the Pacific Northwest, Peter is now an instructor at The Heritage Institute, a branch of Antioch University. He runs his own small walking excursion business in Portland and enjoys leading field trips with Road Scholar, during which he shares his knowledge of local art and natural history.

Judy Zehr

Judy Zehr is a licensed therapist and currently serves as the director of Clinical Education for the Institute for Health Solutions. For more than 30 years, she has been helping people strengthen their skills in creating happy, healthy lives. Judy served as the lead behavioral change trainer in Kaiser Permanente's Health Education programs, and has worked in organizations and businesses leading workshops and trainings for decades.

Wendy Mitchell

A leader in the health promotion field for more than 30 years, Wendy has a master’s in education and psychology and is a certified professional coach. She brings a wealth of experience from her many years of work at the University of California at Berkeley and her role as director of outreach at Oregon Health and Science University, where she advocated for women of all ages and stages of life to take greater personal ownership of their health and the health of their families.

Andrea Crisp

Andrea Crisp is a certified health counselor and a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University’s Integrative Nutrition Professional Training Program. In layman’s terms, she is a combined life coach and nutritionist. She is also a certified leader of Hasya, or “Laughter,” Yoga, which combines yogic breathing exercises with our natural ability to laugh, and a certified practitioner of reiki, an alternative form of medicine.

Mich Nelson

Mich Nelson is Free Spirit-in-Chief of Free Spirit Wines, a wine education and custom wine excursion planning company based in Portland, Ore. Mich is a former tasting room manager and private wine educator in the Willamette Valley. She also teaches classes at the Wine and Spirit Archive, one of Portland’s premier wine schools, and is an instructor with Indulge Wine School. Mich holds the WSET Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits with Distinction and is a member of the Society of Wine Educators.

Dr. Joy Lasseter

Joy Lasseter, Ph.D. is a nutritionist, professional speaker and author. After experiencing a health burnout while working a high-pressure sales job, she changed careers and earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in holistic nutrition. In her journey toward greater health, Joy has lost two dress sizes, conquered depression, overcome fatigue, insomnia, and learned to manage her stress response. Today, she teaches her secrets for a healthier lifestyle during presentations to clubs, companies and conventions. She also designs nutrition programs for individuals, always focusing on easy, healthy lifestyles for vitality and longevity.
