Bill Messenger

Bill Messenger is a musician whose Road Scholar programs are a mix of popular music history and song, combining whimsical tales with catchy tunes that tickle the ivories and the funny bone. In his musical career Bill has played backup piano for Mama Cass Elliot, studied musical composition at the Peabody Conservatory under Louis Cheslock and been voted “Baltimore’s Best Pianist” by the readers of Baltimore Magazine. Critic Robert Lippman called him “a cross between Max Morath and Victor Borge.”

Julie Kurzava

Julie Kurzava is a professional actor, singer and voice teacher. She has appeared in feature and independent films, on stage in theatrical and operatic performances throughout the Mid-Atlantic states, and in commercials and voiceover work.
