ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.

Tom Fisher

Tom Fisher began his career in ballooning when he attended his first Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in 1996. He purchased a balloon soon after, and earned his private pilot certificate in 1998 and his commercial certificate in 2001. Tom is an active member of the Albuquerque Aerostat Ascension Association and the AAAA Education Foundation, and is a board member and docent for the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque Balloon Museum.

Christopher Gibson

Christopher Gibson is an award-winning artist, writer and arts educator who makes his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His work includes the Cuentos del Camino series on lower Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe and mixed-media installations at numerous museums in New Mexico and California. Over the years he has written several articles on Hispanic Arts and Culture for the magazines Tradición Revista and Imagen.

Elizabeth Schroder

After years working in transit management, administration, operations and development consulting, Elizabeth Schroder found her calling in 2014 and became an educational excursion leader. An Arizona native with a deep affinity for the Southwest, she was proud to have claimed residency in all of the Four Corners states upon moving to Santa Fe, and is gratified and excited to share her favorite corner of the world with the Road Scholar community.
