Program #10322RJ
5 Days | 4 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderately Challenging
While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Anyone else going on this trip? I've ridden with Rock Creek several times before and had wonderful times. Beautiful country!

Is there a "what's provided" list? Or have I overlooked a "what to bring" list somewhere? Other than riding and fishing gear?

Sonia Reznick May 31, 2013 at 07:59 PM

I just enrolled for this program for Aug '13. I will be driving from Los Angeles. Is anybody interested in sharing a ride?

I'll be coming up from Tucson, AZ. Anyone want to meet along route from Barstow (Rte 40)or anywhere going up Rte 395, I'll be happy to bring along. Driving a (new) Subaru Outback, so will have room for gear. Helen Cowles

Edit to earlier message: Should read "along the route from Tucson, through Barstow (Rte 40) or anywhere going up Rte 395. Probably coming through on July 8 or 9.

Hi Helen, My friend and I will be coming on the pack trip. We'll fly from Wisconsin and would be interested in sharing a ride with you. We can fly to Las Vegas or Phoenix if that works better for you. Mary Koehl

Hi,
Anyone interested in sharing the cost of a rental car from the Reno airport or another possible airport?
I'm weighing taking the bus early or rental car or?
My departure city is Portland Oregon.

Best,
Susan
