I arrive 6:17 PM Kahului Airport (OGG) United Airlines 590. I do not plan (hopefully) to have a checked bag. You can text me at 202 297 5709 or email shriekingjay@comcast.net

Joyce: Let me know your flight information. If my flight is delayed, we can share a ride. The least expensive limo service from the airport is Hawaii Executive Transportation service at 808-669-2300. I want to attend the recommended show in Maui one evening we are there. Do you have an interest in going also? I am going to check on availability of tickets and can let you know. Eileen.

I am attending the program and have two questions. Is anyone signing up in advance for the free time options that are suggested? My flight arrives on 2/08 at 4:15. Is anyone else arriving about that time? Eileen Kollins, Cleveland, OH

We are considering the 9-15 date for this trip.My husband's shoulder is problematic and he is concerned about getting back in the boat after snorkeling. Is there someone on board who will be able to help him?

I am arriving Feb 7 for the program beginning Feb 8. My flight arrives at the Kahului Airport at 3:35 pm on Feb 7. Is anyone else arriving Feb 7 who would be interested in sharing a ride to Lahaina? Shuttles charge just about the same for 2 as for 1. A taxi is also a possibility.

I have not bought tickets yet. Thought about arriving early. It is a long flight and BIG time adjustment from the DC area.
Kathleen Ellis Nov 25, 2014 at 08:57 AM

If you are thinking about coming early, you might want to reserve your extra day at the hotel now. Yesterday they told me they were getting really tight on rooms.

I am a certified diver but have only been wet a few times. As time goes by the elaborate equipment seems awkward. Hence the snorkeling.

Ruta Sevo Aug 06, 2014 at 11:34 AM

I think yes, it would work. The snorkeling can be short - one hour or so. You are on beaches or boats. Some people didn't go in because of illness or mood. When in salt water, you float, so it is great for a beginner. You can wear a floatation device. You want to snorkel floating face down, on top of the water, using mask & snorkel for breathing. Our oldest participant was 92 years old. You have to be comfortable in water, though, using your arms and legs, but you can stay in shallow places too.

Thinking of going. I have a neighbor who might but is not a swimmer so would just be alng for the ride. Would that work???
