An outstanding program, rigorous, ultra challenge, amazing leadership. Just being at Pingree, the CSU mountain campus is life changing. Only for the fit and seasoned trekker!

John Moyer May 14, 2014 at 09:30 AM

Will be returning home from family event at 11A-DIA, going directly to get car in a parking area, then directly to Pingee. I'd be glad to meet anyone inside the DIA terminal between 11 and noon on the 22nd. Return leg negotiable, drop near a shuttle facility.
zara daneshvar May 16, 2014 at 05:18 PM

Hello John, I will get back to you later!
John Moyer May 17, 2014 at 08:34 AM

I'm available toy get you up to Pingree from DIA.
zara daneshvar May 18, 2014 at 03:19 PM

I will arrive at DIA approx at 10 am on June 22. What are the costs for the car?
John Moyer May 18, 2014 at 07:10 PM

Nada, maybe a tank of gas. Phone #? to discuss particulars, where to meet, etc.
zara daneshvar May 18, 2014 at 08:40 PM

Are you renting a car? I guess it is best that we discuss this via email or over the phone as we get closer to the daparture date.
John Moyer May 19, 2014 at 05:24 AM

No my car is at the airport, will pick it up and go directly to Pingree from the car park area. Need your phone contact number to finalize a plan.

John Moyer May 29, 2014 at 05:57 AM

Good, then we can firm up plans
Sandra Gramling Jun 13, 2014 at 05:50 PM

Hi John. Do you have any more room in your car? I will be arriving at DIA at 10:05. Would much rather ride with you to Pingree than catch a couple of shuttles! But I'm grateful there are shuttles, so no worries if you are already full. Sandy
John Moyer Jun 14, 2014 at 07:15 AM

Sandra, yes, if your luggage is not too bulky.
John Moyer Jun 14, 2014 at 07:16 AM

So what's your phone number for this weekend, best time? I want to discuss directly. Mine is (h) 303-697-4997 or (c) 303-888-4997
John Moyer Jun 15, 2014 at 02:21 PM

Sandy, let me know soon please, Sunday noon MDT
John Moyer Jun 18, 2014 at 05:31 AM

john.moyer@ucdenver.edu Need to get your flight information, confirmation of your cell number, Thanks. Glad you and I and Zara can ride up to Pingree together. Looking forward to it.

zara daneshvar Feb 06, 2014 at 12:58 PM

I am looking to share a rental car from Denver airport to Pingree on June 22. Is there anyone interested?
Norm Levy Feb 06, 2014 at 04:01 PM

Hi Zara, I might be interested. I've been checking prices on rental cars and at present they look high. However, splitting the price sounds interesting.
zara daneshvar Feb 06, 2014 at 04:10 PM

the shuttle price is $36 one way
Norm Levy Feb 06, 2014 at 04:21 PM

The car rental is +- $300 depending on the car size. Last time I was there I rented a car but don't remember what I paid.
zara daneshvar Feb 06, 2014 at 04:23 PM

Definitely too high
Norm Levy Feb 06, 2014 at 04:40 PM

I'll keep checking and if the price goes down substantially I'll follow up with you.
zara daneshvar Feb 06, 2014 at 05:17 PM

OK thank you.

John Fiske Mar 03, 2012 at 07:02 PM

I arrive at DEN before 9 am on Fri., 6/22. My Plan A is to take the shuttle to Ft. Collins, stay there overnight and catch the shuttle to Pingree on Sat. at 3 pm (as mentioned in the trip description). Would consider alternative plan that involved sharing rental car expense.
Norm Levy Mar 08, 2012 at 01:22 PM

John, I don't get in until Saturday the 23rd or I would be happy to share a rental with you. If you want to stay in Denver that night and meet me Saturday morning, that would work.

Norm Levy Jan 22, 2012 at 10:55 PM

i would be interested in sharing a ride to and from Pingree Park for this years program.

Ernest Witzke Apr 23, 2011 at 06:43 PM

I am looking for people to share a rental car from Denver airport to Pingree on Friday 6/24/11. I arrive in Denver 10AM. I want to get to Pingree 1 day early to adjust to the altitude. I leave Pingree on Saturday 7/2 and need to be in Denver airport by 1PM. This will be my 3rd Basecamp in Pingree. Thanks, Ernie Witzke

Jane Bartell Mar 17, 2011 at 12:21 PM

Going early to Ft Collins to get adjusted to the altitude. Greenride (you can google it) Shuttle is a good choice and they even have a senior rate! Anyone else planning to arrive early?
Liz Langdon Apr 02, 2013 at 02:57 PM

I am arriving in Denver on Wednesday, June 19. Does anyone have suggestions for places to explore before meeting with the group?

Michael Vavrek Feb 15, 2010 at 12:28 PM

Would you like to bring glove and ball to play catch?

Michael
