My husband and I are arriving in NY at LaGuardia Sunday, Sep 6. Any suggestions as to the best way to get to Club Quarters - Midtown? Is it better to take a shuttle or a cab? The last time we were in NYC was briefly in 2003.

My trip to NYC was in May 2015. I had a car reserved from the Hotel to pick me up but had to cancel it since my flight was 8 hours late. I took a cab from JFK to my hotel in Midtown around 10:30 PM. The line for a cab was long but moved pretty fast. The cabs from that airport have a standard fee of $55.00 plus tax to most hotels. This was far less than the car I reserved from the Hotel. The cab is much faster and more convenient than the shuttle. I understand the shuttle has many stops.

I am thinking of taking my parents on this tour. The are in their 80s and can walk independently, but slowly. Is this tour appropriate for them?

This is a great program, but since it is moderately challenging , itinvolves quite a bit of walking, stairs, and subway travel, you might want to consider looking into a program that is less physically challenging.

I have not toured New York since 1976 and I am looking forward to my trip. I have been on business trips a few times since then but no pleasure touring.

Enrolled in The Big Apple Experience May 10.Hoping to get a roommate.I understand the groups are usually quite large. Has anybody done this program?

We enjoyed the program last December. This is a good way to learn your way around the city, and to navigate the transit system.

Did you find the activity level was comfortable for someone not used to walking 5 miles on a regular basis.

I am arriving LaGuardia Sunday March 8th at 11.54am. Anybody interested in sharing a ride to the hotel?

We are arriving via Amtrak, and plan to stroll across the street to the hotel on 12-14. We're interested in FAO Schwartz, Gugggenheim, a Rockettes show-- as well as all the good food.

Here is an article I just saw on CNN. Might be of interest to those thinking about the NYC trip. http://www.cnn.com/2014/11/13/travel/new-york-things-to-do/index.html?hpt=tr_c1
