Just as an FYI, I called the hotel in St. Charles and if you are driving and flying back to St. Louis, the hotel will let you leave your car there for the duration of the trip.

Greetings, I'm looking forward to the Footsteps of Lewis & Clark Sept 13, 2015. I'd like to hear from anyone also registered or from folks who've been on this adventure before. Thanks. I'm arriving at St. Louis airport on Sunday 9/13 on delta #6244 @ 12:25. Anyone at the airport around that time wanting to share a ride to St Charles?

In July I obtained the discount rate with Yellow Cab of St. Charles. Details are in the Information Packet you will receive from Road Scholar.

How many people are in this group?

Curt Westbrook Jun 14, 2015 at 06:23 PM

Hello fellow adventurers.....I look forward to meeting all of the Scholars on the 26 July trip. The Road Scholar folks have filled up a page of suggested reading to prepare for this course. There are some video resources you might wish to check out: a National Geographic documentary (40+ minutes), available on Netflix and elsewhere; and two sessions in the Ken Burns program "American Lives" (almost four hours). Both are educational, informative, and in the Ken Burns vehicle, entertaining. See you soon.

Or fly back to your home city if it's not St. Louis.

It appears that I have to arrange transportation back to Missouri from Portland?
Agnes Smith Apr 01, 2015 at 11:05 PM

Yes, that is true. We are going in September and will be flying back to St. Louis and then taking a cab back to St. Charles to retrieve our car.

Another solo here! Sue Pardue from Austin, Tx. This trip is my present to myself for finally retiring.
