This will be the first Road Scholar program my husband and I have attended. How many participants are involved?

My friend, Carolyn Gibbons, and I are attending Road Scholar program number 7058 in Richmond November 16-21, 2014. We will arrive at the Crown Plaza Downtown by personal automobile early to mid-afternoon on Sunday, November 16th.

We request that we be assigned to a room with two double beds which is situated on the south side of the building facing the water and near the elevators.

We hope that with such ample lead time that you will be able to honor our request.

Thank you,

LaHonda Jo Morgan

Hey, everyone. Back home again after an incredibly fun, intense and productive week of genealogical research. We all learned lots of new information/resources, and sometimes whimsical tidbits. We had great instructors and guides, busy but not too demanding a schedule and I believe each person came away with new information, connections, insights and firmly vowing to "really get organized" and move any brickwall research right back another generation or two. I daresay there are folks already checking their calendars for repeat performance next year. Accomodations were excellent and our every need was anticipated and tended to by Catherine Dodson who was the administrative program manager. Donna Shumate was primary instructor, and Shirley was her ever present assistant. These three ladies made ever minute of our experience the best it could be. Three cheers and a flagship salvo for them. Hope to see them again next year when I have worked my research into another swamp or brickwall. Jo Morgan
