We're looking forward to this program in July very much. We are Michael and Sandra Coleman from Oakland CA and we look forward to meeting the other participants

Greetings from San Antonio, Texas. We've long been anticipating this program, too, having so enjoyed the "Julia" Boston/QMII/Paris version last September. Always happy to start another adventure with Road Scholar . . . Lin and Barney

WE are looking forward to this program in Oct. Does anyone know about the transportation from hotel to museum, etc? I've checked the maps and they look a little far to be walking. My husband, Marvin, and I are from Dallas, Tx.

We are leaving 9/1/14. What about attire aboard the QE2?
Sylvia Greenberg Aug 25, 2014 at 11:11 AM

Our ship was Queen Mary 2.. Dress was a little difficult as we spent a week in Paris and London in casua; clothing. The formal nights were not as formal as others on the ship but we had our own tables and some of the men had on a regular suit and some just wore a sport coat. The women all wore pant suits...some dressier than others. The most important part of clothing to take is a good pair of walking shoes! You will have a magnificient time!v

Thank you this is very helpful. Of course it is the QM2, my error. Will I feel comfortable wearing jeans and sneakers in Paris?
Sylvia Greenberg Aug 25, 2014 at 06:48 PM

Those are all right. Where you stay and the places you go are all lovely comidations for tourists. I know there are sleek Parisian woman who look smart all the time but for a short educational fun trip everyone wants you to be happy and comfortable! We were there in Oct. and took raincoats and umbrella which we never used. We did have light jackets. QM2 does have a do it yourself laundry so you don't n need a lot of clothes. A nice sport coat over jeans will take you anywhere that Road Scholar goes. I don't know about the 5 star eateries.
