My sister Laurie and I are on the June 10th trip, departing from San Francisco and looking forward to meeting up with everyone in Boston.
Gerry Eldred May 28, 2014 at 12:14 PM

Hello, Margaret. We are looking forward to meting you, your sister, and the others in the group. See you soon!

Hello, Margaret. We are looking forward to meting you, your sister, and the others in the group. See you soon!

Thanks for the response Gerry. I actually go by Peggy but on this trip perhaps I'll be Marguerite! First trip to Paris for me - my sister has been. Won't be long - time to get packing.

Hello again Peggy (Marguerite), I look forward to meeting you, not meting (oops).
Gerry Eldred May 28, 2014 at 07:10 PM

We are Francophiles and have been to Paris many times--can't seem to get enough of that beautiful city.

Gerry Eldred Apr 07, 2014 at 05:40 PM

We are part of the June 10 departure.

Hello, I am traveling with my husband on this trip. Are there any other men registered?

Karen Moss Jun 06, 2013 at 08:25 PM

I live in Boston and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I'm traveling with a female friend from Providence, Ri, and we've both been to Paris several times. Am really looking forward to this trip, and to meeting all of you!

That's bus line #69, starting near the Eiffel Tower and ends up at Pere Lachaise Cemetary. A pleasure to ride on something other than the Metro and actually see the city. . .

Grace Metro May 25, 2013 at 05:23 PM

Has anyone considered taking an organized tour of the city either during the afternoon to see some of the sites or an evening tour of the city which includes dinner. I have seen several tours online but am not sure if they are a ripoff or not.
Linda Bursack May 25, 2013 at 08:28 PM

In the September program our group was surprised by a bus tour of the city, conducted by one of the experienced docents from Paris Walks, good 'ole Brad..
Leah Bolek May 25, 2013 at 08:58 PM

Rick Steves actually recommends taking a certain bus and sitting on a certain side of that bus for a great tour of Paris. My daughter and I planned to do just that but it happened to be a Sunday and that bus doesn't run then.
Grace Metro May 26, 2013 at 07:28 AM

It looks like our free afternoons will occur on a Monday and Thursday so Rick Steves bus trip might work. If you recall the specific bus, please bring the info along with you.

This is Leah, the retired French teacher. I'll bring some metro maps and would be happy to give lessons on how to take the metro and show you where things are in Paris. See you in Boston!

Maureen Heyder May 23, 2013 at 10:07 AM

Glad to hear we have a retired French teacher on board
I would be interested in joining others for an informal session on the sights of Paris
See you in Boston
