Just signed up for the April 21, 2016 trip. I'm leaving from Atlanta, AF681 5:50pm departure. Just wondering if anyone else might be on this flight?

eileen benson Mar 02, 2015 at 01:07 PM

Coming from Atlanta, GA. I love Sonoma wine country, this should be a wonderful trip.
Dianne Schumacher Mar 04, 2015 at 01:48 PM

Hi Eileen, Wow, you're from Georgia and know of the Napa/Sonoma wine area! I love it there also but we have just as good a "wine country" area here in our neck of the woods near Sacramento. It's in Amador county, called the Shennadoa Valley and School House Road area. Great wines and better prices, smaller wineries where you get to know the owners and most don't charge tasting fees. There is also the Lodi area (south of Sac.) that has wonderful zinfandel wines that are great. We are so blessed w/ many great wineries in our area. I love the wines from France also and we are looking forward to sharing great wines w/ great company....will be a wonderful trip, I'm sure.

Am interested in knowing if anyone else is going on this trip from Ca. We are from Lincoln (Sacramento area) Ca.

Dianne Schumacher Feb 21, 2015 at 06:28 PM

If we book our flight on our own how do we transfer to the hotel in Sarlar from the Bordeaux airport?
Harry Jones Jul 30, 2015 at 06:59 PM

Take airport bus to main train station then local train without changes a couple of hours to Sarlat. See schedules at bahn.hafas.de. Then taxi to hotel. Email me at hjones@prodigy.net for more info.
Harry Jones Jul 30, 2015 at 07:01 PM

Or, just meet the main group at the airport and they will let you use the group bus.

Interested in connecting with others also. I and Jerry are coming from Lincoln (Sacramento) Ca. for the 9-5-15 trip to the So of France.

Interested in connecting w/others on the Oct 5 tour. I'm traveling from Orlando.

has anyone used RS air program? Your experiences?
Charles Routh Aug 02, 2014 at 01:31 PM

We have used RS air program, with good experiences. They are helpful and knowledgeable. We tend to use on line booking ourselves for domestic flights. For international flights we prepare for talking to RS by checking about flights and costs. We then find out if there is free RS bus transportation to the airport for people who book using RS. Then we call RS. We have found that the costs by RS are as good as we could get on line and frequently RS could get better connections or suggestions for times or airlines. We also check Seat Guru for the seats we want.

I'm leaving May 9th from SFO and am interested in hearing from any participants who also are leaving same date from SFO

Sol Silver Apr 28, 2014 at 10:22 PM

I would like to get to know other participants before the program begins. we are on the 5/9 trip and will be in Paris from 5/5 until we meet up with the group on the connecting flight to Bordeaux.
