I am wondering if a backpacking backpack would be easier than a suitcase. I know it's early but I am just wondering
Sierra MacNaughton Mar 21, 2014 at 10:17 PM

I do have both

Diane White Mar 08, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Hi again Diane,
At the Infierno River Port in Puerto Maldonado, we had to place what we needed at Posada Amazonas in a canvas bag. Our suitcase was placed in storage at the office. My suggestion: place your jungle belongings together in your luggage. We only had 10 minutes to do this so we forget some things we wanted.
Diane White Nov 01, 2013 at 10:43 PM

Thanks for the tip, we will follow your advise!

Kaye Andrews Oct 19, 2013 at 11:24 AM

Hi Diane,

We took this trip last summer (2012). You two are in for a terrific adventure.
Holbrook travel does an excellent job with this program. Our group of 8 was small including 3 from Canada. Take a sturdy poncho for the jungle and altitude sickness pills for the Sacred Valley. Enjoy every minute of the trip!
Diane White Oct 21, 2013 at 10:29 AM

Thanks for the tips! We are so excited about this; any more tips would be greatly appreciated!

Diane White Oct 18, 2013 at 08:43 PM

My Granddaughter, who will be 18 by the time we leave and I are coming from Canada, and really looking forward to this trip!
Dorothy K Jan 19, 2014 at 05:47 PM

Hi Diane, would love to connect further about the trip.
