Also does anyone have any suggestions as to what extra things we need to take- example- will water be provided? Is rain gear needed?

John McCann May 20, 2014 at 12:21 PM

We are taking this trip 5/25. Does anyone know what the weather may be like at this time in the mountain area?

I am considering this trip 9/14-19. Is anyone driving from Asheville or interested in sharing a car rental?

I am registered for 9/14-19 trip and will be renting a car if no ride is found.Anyone willing to share the car and expense?
Sandra Olson Jun 16, 2014 at 04:20 PM

Susan, I would love to help out with a rental car to get to and from Asheville airport.
Sandra Olson Jun 16, 2014 at 04:21 PM

Sorry Susan, you are doing a July date. I need Sept date. Dorothy are you willing to share a rental car and expense with me?

Sandra, I have not yet decided whether to join the Sept. trip, but if I do, I would be happy to join you in renting a car. I'll keep in touch. Where are you coming from? I live in Cleveland and am considering the 10 hr drive to Asheville if someone is coming from that area and would like to join me.
Dorothy Robbins Jun 17, 2014 at 12:06 PM

To all on the Sept. trip, if anyone would like to share driving from the Cleveland Ohio area, I'd be willing to drive down. However I'll be staying in Asheville over the following weekend 9/19-22 before returning.

Hi Sandra, I am now planning on going on the Sept. trip, so if you would still like to share a car rental, please let me know. As I mentioned earlier, I might consider driving from Cleveland in my car if you or someone were coming from that vicinity. However, I am staying in Asheville the following weekend 9/19-22. I don't know if we are allowed to post contact info but if you send me your email or phone, I'll get in touch.
Sandra Olson Aug 05, 2014 at 04:34 PM

I am in the process of making airline reservations to Ashville. I will know later this week about my schedule. I am happy to share the car rental if that works for you. You can contact me at fsolsen@yahoo.com

I would like to attend the July 15-20 session, but need a ride from and to the Asheville airport. Is anyone able to give me a lift? Thank you!
Susan Whiteman Jun 29, 2012 at 02:47 PM

That's me above. Not having heard from anyone, I rented a car and would share the cost with if someone needs a ride to and from the Asheville airport.

Erica Gordon Mar 29, 2012 at 01:40 PM

I'm looking for a ride to Asheville on 6/8/12 when the program ends.

Erica Gordon Feb 17, 2012 at 09:18 PM

I'll be at the John C Campbell Folk School the week before, just a few miles away. It's unlikely anyone will be coming from that direction. I can get a ride to Atlanta so if anyone is driving to the trip from Atlanta, I would really appreciate hitching a ride with you.
Erica Gordon May 08, 2012 at 10:10 AM

I could use a ride from the John C Campbell Folk School in Brasstown to Hayesville on Sunday, June 3rd. If you're driving that way, I'd be greatful for the lift.
