I will be attending the 4/26-5/1 program. Anyone interested in sharing a car from Tucson? Am staying thru 5/2 to do the Sonoran desert museum.

I am attending the May24-29 program. Is anyone interested in sharing a car from Tucson?

Jo Ann Raine Jan 15, 2013 at 05:03 PM

my group will rent a car in Tucson and stay a day to see Desert museum. Pricy trip by the van method. might as well share a car with 4 trippers.
Mary Passage Jan 29, 2013 at 03:03 PM

What dates are you going Jo Ann? If you're looking for another rider I might be interested.
Jo Ann Raine Jan 29, 2013 at 04:41 PM

our trip is May 5 and I am nt in charge of the car but I will keep your email and stay in touch. All passengers would share the cost of the car and gas.
Mary Passage Jan 29, 2013 at 07:23 PM

That is when I'm going. Had thought to take the van as I didn't want to drive alone. The cost share would be fine.
Jo Ann Raine Jan 29, 2013 at 08:15 PM

We have four and with luggage, we will opt for a van if they decide to rent. I am 76 and am being guided by the ones in their 50's as to the transport since they will do the driving. I think there is a good chance that we could take you along and I will keep in touch well before you have to call the limo company.

I am leaving this med Feb for a Costa Rica birding trip. Excited about returning after 14 years. Where do you live? I am from Pa. but now live in Houston Texas near my daughter. Texas is a great birding destination.
Mary Passage Jan 30, 2013 at 07:51 PM

I've heard great things about birding in Texas & will add that to my list. I'm almost 63 & finally have time to travel wherever, whenever. Will look forward to hearing about the Costa Rica trip. A number of the Road Scholar folks from my other birding trips have been & had great times.
