See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This is our first Road Scholar experience (#15003RJ-Sept 8-13, 2013) Does anyone know if laundry facilities or services are available? Could cut packing in half.

Signed up for this program May 23, 2012. Still have not gotten the information package in the mail. Called yesterday to alert everyone, supposed to get a call back. Have not heard. I know from previous trips that you need certain documents filled out.

Have you checked you account on your computer?

All expenses are included on a Road Scholar trip, including tips.

You might want to leave a tip for the person who cleans your room.

Cindy Bumgarner May 21, 2012 at 05:35 PM

Does anyone know what is customary in regards to tipping on road scholar programs?

Any other singles on this trip? I'll be rooming with one of you!

I'm headed to Grand Manan Island for three days after this program.

This is my first trip like this, but when the catalog came, I knew it was for me. I love Acadian and Celtic music, and the area has always been on my wish list. I am going as a single from Wisconsin. I plan to either come in a few days early (and explore Fredrickton area, or stay a few days longer and go over to PEI. Looking forward to meeting you.

I was not planning on a roomate, and paid the single price. I prefer rooming alone, but will look forward to getting to know you.
Susan Blanton Apr 18, 2013 at 10:27 PM

Hi All! I am traveling single but did not pay the single supp., so we may be paired for a room. Judith, I am also coming early. Due to the funky connection from my airport (Lexington, KY) to St.John's, I'll be arriving at midnight on Sunday. I was planning on looking around & maybe finding a church if the service isn't too early sunday AM.
