Frances and I are on the 9/24 trip, but RS made our travel arrangements with our arrival at Marseille at 1:55pm, just in time for the shuttle to Aix. We'll see you at the 6PM orientation. Hope you get to share your taxi to Aix.
Sheila Troutman Aug 29, 2015 at 09:54 AM

look forward to it. sheila troutman

Anyone flying out of McGee/Tyson in Knoxville, TN for the last week in Sept trip?

Carolyn Allen Jun 20, 2015 at 07:26 PM

I'd love to hear from others who are going on the Sept 10-18 2015 trip. This is my first adventure with Road Scholar. Carolyn Allen
Margo Dunlavey Aug 15, 2015 at 01:48 PM

I will be on that trip. I am a retired h. s. math teacher, living in Rockville, MD, outside of Washington, D.C. I have done several trips with Road Scholar, and am looking forward to this one.
Carolyn Allen Aug 15, 2015 at 05:28 PM

Thanks for replying, Margo. I'm a teacher too, though not yet retired. Hope we hear from others.

For those on the May 8, 2015 trip:
Bonnie and I (Gary) are lining up a Monte Carlo tour for the afternoon of our last full day, from our Nice hotel.

The two we're looking at are:
Eze Village, Monaco, & Monte Carlo (afternoon) http://www.city-discovery.com/nice/tour.php?id=3040

and Dine Out in Monte Carlo

We're most interested in the shorter afternoon one, the first trip.

Anyone else?

Hi Martha-I found the trip to be overall a wonderful experience. The days were a little too long for me, particularly if there was an evening activity planned. I coped by taking some days or afternoons off. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable, and the people in the group were fantastic! I was apprehensive about going by myself, but I met some good buddies that I could hang out with.
Martha Lentz Feb 04, 2015 at 11:01 PM

Thanks for your thoughts, Dotti. One of the things I like about this trip is the amount of free time so if you are tired or just want to be on your own, you can. Ima photographer (amateur) I like to be able to explore some on my own. I have been on a couple other Road Scholar trips by myself and they have worked out very well. Have you been on other RS trips.

Martha Lentz Jan 24, 2015 at 04:20 PM

I'm on the April 23 trip. Wondering who else is going on this trip as well.
Dorothy Huss Jan 25, 2015 at 06:43 PM

I went on the May trip last year and had a wonderful time. If you have any questions about the trip, I would be happy to answer.
Martha Lentz Jan 25, 2015 at 07:18 PM

I be interested in any comments you have. Weather, food, activity level, etc.
David Sellers Feb 16, 2015 at 05:02 PM

I'm signed up for the Apr. 23 trip, too, Martha. Looks like a good one. Anyone have ideas about where to go when we have free time?
Martha Lentz Feb 16, 2015 at 05:08 PM

I have no clue but I'm sure many sites will become evident very quickly. Im a photographer (serious amateur) and expect to find lots of inspiration! I'm from Maine and the anticipation of this trip is getting me through avery severe winter.
David Sellers Feb 16, 2015 at 05:14 PM

Sorry about your weather...reading about it out here on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound. Provence is definitely something for you to look forward to!

I'm on the 9/25-10/3 2014 trip to So. France. Am hoping to hear who else is on this trip. I'm also going to Paris for the 10/5-12 2014, anyone doing that?
Marie Sep 08, 2014 at 10:53 AM

I am doing the Provence trip next spring. Let me know how the trip goes.
