ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Is anyone else interested in a Hamam(Turkish bath) experience in Istanbul? #1 rated one is near our hotel!
Look at trip advisor for Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hamam. I am game for this new experience!

PS this is Christy, not Larry

To anyone who has already taken this trip:
Can you comment on the actual terrain and the amount of really active, strenuous walking?

Four of us will be flying out of Detroit for the 9/12 trip. Would appreciate hearing from anyone else who will be in that program.

Thinking of doing this trip, my 1st RS, but can't find info on all the "category" classes on the ship. Can anyone tell me what the differences are. Cant find anything on website.
Linda Miltner Jul 18, 2015 at 11:22 AM

Go to the website of the Aegean Odyssey ship called Voyages to Antiquity: http://us.voyagestoantiquity.com/ . In the section "About the Ship" you will find deck plans and references to categories that you can match up with RS site. I don't know how things will have changed in Greece since we went in April, but it was an AWESOME trip then and we highly recommend it!

Hi my husband Lee and I are taking our first RS trip, and first cruise. We are coming from Cleveland, OH, and flying out of JFK on British Airways at 7:00pm Friday. We layover in London, and fly out on BA to Athens at 8:20am. We are looking forward to meeting the rest of Green group in Athens. See you all soon.

Christy and Larry Walter- Cincinnati- Green

Road Scholar instructions say to bring copies of prescriptions with us. Our pharmacy said just to bring pill bottles. Do you think we need paper copies of prescriptions in addition to bottles? Linda and Dick (Team Blue, leaving out of Cincinnati)

Christy and Larry Walter...meet and greet Saturday at CVG?
Lawrence Walter Sep 07, 2015 at 06:47 PM

I also carried pill containers through Peru/Amazon and no extra scrips documentation needed there.Had more screening in Miami when entering country( searching for drugs?)

Patricia Buchanan Mar 30, 2015 at 11:49 PM

It sounds like a bunch of us are "green". Looking forward to meeting you all. Patty
