Program #20276RJ
5 Days | 4 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderately Challenging
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This is my 6th RS trip, 1st to Vermont. All of the programs I have attended have been excellent. I always had fun and always learned something.

Is anyone else registered for Jan 19 - 23rd 2015. This is my first RS trip and I'd like to hear the experiences of others.
Serena Uible Nov 23, 2014 at 09:38 PM

I did same program last year - it was great. I was EXTREMELY inexperienced as far as skiing. Instructors were extremely patient, kind and helpful. It is a great place. My biggest complaint was that it wasn't a very social program. Participants need to make more effort to socialize, otherwise, it is mainly just mealtime for socializing. Of course, I spent classes in terror which sorta hindered the whole social process.

Kathleen McFadden Nov 13, 2014 at 12:01 PM

Thanks, it is my first with RS, glad to hear you enjoyed it. wonder why the comments aren't archived after a trip is completed?
Serena Uible Nov 13, 2014 at 12:11 PM

I can see where SOME would be of interest, but I'd guess it is more they just haven't bothered.
