RE: Blogging. Does anyone know how to do this? If so, would you be so kind as to show me how for this particular program on RS's blog? Again, this is a first!
Sherelyn Sep 30, 2015 at 05:49 PM

I mean when we get to Mesa Verde!

Sherelyn Sep 27, 2015 at 03:26 PM

This being my first Road Scholar adventure, do you who are going to Mesa Verde have any packing tips to pass on?

Sherelyn Sep 15, 2015 at 08:33 PM

Two weeks until we begin our program. I'm excited. Got a couple more books today on our recommending reading list. Anyone else doing some of the reading?
Bob Harmon Sep 23, 2015 at 05:52 PM

We're reading Ancient Peoples of the American Southwest by Steve Plog, and Ancient Ruins of the Southwest, by David Noble.
Bob Harmon Sep 23, 2015 at 05:53 PM

We also found, at our library, The Grand Circle Tour, by Michael Royea, which we also found very helpful.

Anyone coming from east coast, particularly DC?

Sherelyn Aug 13, 2015 at 05:26 PM

Who else is going to Mesa Verde Oct 4-9?? I'm flying in from Portland OR and live on the Oregon Coast.
Bob Harmon Sep 23, 2015 at 05:54 PM

We're driving in from California.
Nancy Phillips Sep 26, 2015 at 06:57 PM

We're driving in from California, also. We're leaving on Sat., planning to stay in Kingman, then arriving at Far View Lodge Sun. afternoon

Re: Oct.4-9, 2015 Mesa Verde Program...is anyone flying into Durango Oct 4th? I'd like to share expenses for a cab or car to get on out to Mesa Verde. Please contact me through this board. My first experience with R.S., I'm not sure if the above email is private to make arrangements.
Susan Merk Aug 31, 2015 at 02:06 PM

I'm flying into Durango on 10/4 from DC and would like to share a car rental. My return flight leaves at 10:30am on 10/9. My email address is sbmerk@verizon.net
Sherelyn Sep 01, 2015 at 12:27 AM

What time does your flight arrive on 10/4? I have already rented a car; and, I decided to fly in 2 days earlier to stay at Sophia's Retreat Center. Depending on what time your arrive, perhaps I could pick you up if you'd like to chip in $50. The cab is $130 one-way.

Heard from my son in law a little extra time in Durango is well worth it. Appreciate the offer. I will be driving from the other direction, i.e. Boise, Salt Lake, Moab and to event. Appreciate it. See you on the 28th. -Bob Knoll
