My husband will be with me for the May 23 - June 3 trip then he will fly home and I will be staying for 6 days in Paris at the St. Jacques...as recommended by a friend who has summered in France for 26 years...anyone else staying on after the RS trip?

I'm going a few days early for the Sept. 3-14 trip. I have a room at the Beaumarchais for Sept. 1st and 3rd (not the 2nd) if there's another woman who would like to share the room.

Myself and two friends are going on the Sept. 3-14 trip. One friend is looking for a female roommate, as hers had to cancel. Is anyone looking for a roommate, or has a friend who would like to go, but needs a roomy? Her name is Nancy, and she is a delightful person!!

I'm on the May 17-27 trip arriving early morning May 17 on Iberia 4158 so may see some of you on the way over. Am staying over several days afterward in La Marais at Hotel Jeanne D'Arc (hope it's not a dump) to visit/revisit some places not on the program itinerary. Have heard that Beaumarchais is quieter than many in La Marais where there is apparently plenty of nightlife all around. AC helps.

I'm going on the April trip - flying from JFK on the late flight (8:55). Anyone else on that flight?

Virginia Morris Mar 17, 2015 at 01:13 PM

We are going on the April trip - anyone flying from Charlotte. If so, we hope to meet you at the airport!

I am flying from Dallas arriving April 11th at 7:30 AM. What time do you arrive?

Peggy Bagwell Feb 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM

Also, read that Beaumarchais is above a noisy nightclub? Anyone else have a problem there?

Peggy Bagwell Feb 20, 2015 at 10:59 AM

Hi, I am Peggy. David and I aare going on this trip in May. We plan to stay an extra 4 days at end of trip. Anyone else doing that? Trying to decide whether to stay in hotel, get an appartment, etc. Any advice? Flying out of Dulles on May 16th. See you all there.
Cyrelle Gerson Feb 28, 2015 at 02:56 PM

I am also going in May and staying a few days after with a French friend. Sorry I can't help with suggestions of where to stay, but have you considered visiting an area outside of Paris, such as the Loire Valley?
Peggy Bagwell Mar 18, 2015 at 10:25 AM

We have a small hotel. Plan to pick up on some things that our trip does not include. Thanks for responding.
