Why is program physically demanding if the bike has an electric motor that carries you up the hills?
Sheri Litterio Apr 08, 2015 at 10:08 AM

Hi! I think the activity level of "Moderately Challenging" is accuarate. You still have to pedal and the hills are mountains! It was an amazing trip and I enjoyed every moment.

Hi Everyone, I am thinking about signing up for this trip July 2015. I do not see many reviews and I wondered if anyone who has done the trip would share more about their experience. Thanks.

Rob Stanchik Jul 22, 2014 at 09:09 AM

Hey Sheri!
I second that. It was a great trip and a great group of people who all helped make the trip fun and interesting.

Sheri Litterio Jul 21, 2014 at 05:40 PM

Hi Everyone! Had a wonderful time! I'm glad we were on this journey together. It was great to meet you all and I hope our bike paths cross again!

Hello Fellow Travelers/Bikers. I live in the Washington DC area and will fly out of Dulles International. Looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing this great experience. I took the Danube bike trip last year and enjoyed it
Sheri Litterio May 15, 2014 at 08:38 AM

Hi Rob! Nice to hear that we'll be exploring the Alps together. Would love to hear about you Danube trip.
Robert Page May 17, 2014 at 06:45 PM

Rob, my wife Nancy and I also did the Danube trip in June of last year and it was great. We are leaving out of Phila, and looking forward to the Alps and Dolomites

HI! Leaving out of Boston for this great adventure. Looking forward to meeting up with the group and having a great time!

Anyone else from New York City going on this trip?

Robert Page Mar 25, 2014 at 02:28 PM

Hi Joyce, my wife and I are going on the trip and live in southern NJ and probably leaving from PHL. airport. I have been actively been checking prices.
Joyce Wadler Mar 25, 2014 at 08:22 PM

I'm leaving out of JFK, no info on best price as I used miles. The Road SCholar travel people helped me book a flight back.

For those who are "still on the fence" regarding this type of bike program, there are more great articles in the OUTDOOR magazine...please go to their web-site to review the articles. Worth reading for the true bike purist, you will be pleasantly surprised.
