Hi, Everyone. Monday night: I made it from Cincinnati to Asheville in really nasty weather... but so far, so good. See you tomorrow. - Jan

Lafe travels, Janyth. So glad I decided to fly. see you about 5:00 at hotel.

Hi Helen,
I have arthritis in my feet and at times it is so bad. So, I may have to skip a few excursions also. Hot chocolate sounds good!

How can I get a list of enrollees for this program?
Donna Lewis Dec 21, 2015 at 12:25 PM

Hi, Haven't heard of us being given a list of enrollees yet. Maybe we'll get a list tomorrow when we arrive? I hope so!!
Natalie Maynor Dec 21, 2015 at 08:50 PM

I feel sure we'll get one in our information packet when we check in. That's what usually happens.

Helen Albanese Dec 21, 2015 at 12:12 AM

Before you pack, check weather forecast: rain + mid70's.
Donna Lewis Dec 21, 2015 at 12:25 PM

Not looking forward to driving in the rain tomorrow!
Helen Albanese Dec 21, 2015 at 12:31 PM

So glad I decided to fly. I still don't have the energy to drive that far. And I probably won't do all the tours either. I'm bringing several books and planning some hot chocolate time.
Natalie Maynor Dec 21, 2015 at 08:55 PM

I was lucky that the rain was not on my route. I drove from Mississippi and am spending tonight in Beaufort, hoping to dawdle along the coast tomorrow looking at beautiful scenery -- but not happy about the forecast of rain.
Helen Albanese Dec 21, 2015 at 09:07 PM

Natalie, Mon, Tue, Wed rain. Thu & Fri showers. All the clothes I purchased are wrong - for cool weather. Not 78 degrees.
Helen Albanese Dec 21, 2015 at 09:10 PM

Oops...Thu and Fri CLOUDY (not rain).
Natalie Maynor Dec 21, 2015 at 09:19 PM

I know. I checked wunderground.com when I finally got around to packing. (I had been consumed by having a huge party and didn't get around to thinking about things like packing for this trip until the last minute.) I ended up grabbing a strange assortment of clothes from my closet and tossing them into the suitcase.

I'm driving down from Cincinnati by myself -- I look forward to meeting everyone for a lovely Christmas in Charleston.

Donna Lewis Nov 09, 2015 at 09:13 AM

Anybody else going to Charleston for Christmas?!

Helen Albanese Oct 12, 2015 at 10:10 PM

I'm considering driving down to Charleston from Fairfax, VA. Anyone interested in carpooling? Would stop one night down and one night back, as I cannot ride that much in one day.
Donna Lewis Nov 04, 2015 at 11:59 AM

Hi, Helen I am driving from New Bern, NC to Charleston. Perhaps if you stay in New Bern for a night we could then travel together to Charleston??
Donna Lewis Nov 04, 2015 at 12:00 PM

I am a nonsmoker.
