Our small cellphone carrier is expensive to use in Europe, Has anyone used the rental phones and pay per minute? This looks better than our local deal?

Janet Cole Jul 18, 2015 at 09:29 PM

We're signed up for Sept the 2015 trip and excited. Trying to get out on our bikes as much as possible this summer. Anyone else going to Venice after the RS trip?
Carolyn Gilkey Jul 30, 2015 at 09:49 PM

I'll be going to Bologna for a couple days.

Mike Chesnut Jun 25, 2015 at 07:54 AM

We will be arriving in Innsbruck early for the Sept trip to tour Innsbruck and possible Salzburg. Has anyone visited the cities before with any advice?
Cathy Downs Jun 26, 2015 at 10:33 PM

Twelve of us from Boise were on this trip last fall and absolutely loved it. We went early to Innsbruck. I'd suggest you purchase the "Innsbruck ticket" (not sure that's what it's called) which enables you to go up the mountain and a lot more. Cathy

We are starting in Vienna then getting a car and driving to Salzburg and then on to Innsbruck. We've been to Vienna and Salzburg before but not for long enough. I had not heard of the Innsbruck ticket but will look for it thanks. We've been on three other IBT tours and they were all great. I know they put language in the info packet that makes it sound as if you can't do motocross they will kick you off the tour. Not true, they go out of their way to make things easy.

We just signed up for this trip in May, 2015 after the Cotswold's bike trip was cancelled and would like to hear from others on the trip. We are from Albuquerque, NM and have been on two previous bike trips with Road Scholar.
Joseph Intille Mar 19, 2015 at 06:35 PM

This will be my first bike trip but my Ken has been on several with Roadscholar in the past few years. We are from Florida and ride about 100 miles a week
Joseph Intille Mar 19, 2015 at 06:38 PM

We are also on the May 2015 program and will be staying several extra days in Verona after the trip.
