The weather looks cool - in the 40's but if the sunshines, that will be wonderful. I had read that the Riks was closed -- but would be interested in going that last day we're in Amsterdam. See you in Amsterdam.
Merrill Hollingshead Apr 08, 2013 at 02:07 PM

My name is Merrill. How did you arrange to stay at the hotel a day early? Did you call them? I might be coming in a day early and am wondering if you would like to share the shuttle to the airport on the 11th to meet the group?

Carole Cameron Apr 02, 2013 at 05:56 PM

Actually we will be there until the 12th of course.

Lola Weber Mar 31, 2013 at 03:56 PM

If anyone coming in early is staying at the Amsterdam Hotel at Museum Square, please contact me. I'd love to get together for dinner on the 9th.
Carole Cameron Apr 02, 2013 at 05:54 PM

Hello - my name is Carole and my friend Conni Kilfoil and I will be in Amsterdam from April 7 to the 11th. We plan a trip to Bruges on the 10th and one other day are taking the train toThe Hague. We are styaing at the Museum Square Hotel as well. At the moment I don't see why we couldn't have dinner on the 9th. I will mention it to my friend Conni when I see her at the airport on Saturday and will ask for you when we arrive in Amsterdam.

Carole Cameron Feb 16, 2013 at 01:51 PM

I see the Rijksmusem will not be open when we start our trip but my friend Conni and I plan to visit there on our last free afternoon, April 19th.

Lola Weber Feb 16, 2013 at 12:34 PM

I understand there is a permanent Riksmuseum display at the airport - I'm going to check it out.

Lola Weber Feb 16, 2013 at 12:31 PM

I used the web findmystreet.com to look at some of the places we'll be seeing! Fun stuff

Carole Cameron Nov 12, 2012 at 01:00 PM

My friend Conni and I hope to travel to and from Toronto, Canada instead of New York. We also intend to arrive a few days early to see the museums in Amsterdam.
Lola Weber Nov 12, 2012 at 09:55 PM

I'll be staying at the same hotel we are going to be at that first night. Are you staying there as well?

Lola Weber Oct 17, 2012 at 02:53 PM

I'm looking at an option of coming into Amsterdam a few days early and staying at the hotel connected to the barge trip.
I am particularly interested in spending time at the Amsterdam Historic Museum. Perhaps we can meet prior to the program trip.
