Linda Ellis Jul 30, 2014 at 02:00 PM

My husband and I are scheduled for the Oct 15-30 trip. We fly from BWI. Anyone else from the Washington-Baltimore area for this particular trip?

Pat Damsgaard Apr 12, 2014 at 03:11 PM

Going on Sept. 4th program, then on to Vienna from Budapest. Looking for best way to get there by land. Any Suggestions? Also would like recommendations for lodging in Vienna.
Kata Ihász Apr 14, 2014 at 01:44 PM

Would recommend to use ÖBB Railjet, which is regular train connection between Budapest and Vienna at a very reasonable price. For more info: Looking forward to meeting you in Budapest! Kata Ihász country coordinator for Hungary

Many thanks! Looking forward to meeting you also. Any hotel recommendations in Vienna?
Kata Ihász Apr 15, 2014 at 04:13 AM

Dear Pat, try Hotel Austria in Fleischmarkt street. In the city center, no need for public transport and reasonable rates. Looking forward to meeting you!

Great! Thanks for your post. We had the same thought. We need an extra day to adjust to the time change. I am traveling with Cheryl Fields. Both of us are transplanted mid-westerners. Hope to see you in the airport in Frankfurt en rout to Prague. Should be a wonderful trip.

I am looking forward to the October trip to Prague, Bratislava and Budapest. Traveling from Washington, DC via Frankfurt a day early. We arrive at 11:10 on October 9. Anyone else?
Mary Ann Hutchison Oct 05, 2013 at 01:17 PM

Four of us from NW Illinois will be there also. We fly from Chicago to Frankfort, then on to Prague with you. Look for four senior citizens with Road scholar tags. We thought an early arrival might help us adjust to the time zone. We are getting very excited. I packed my bag yesterday, copied my credit cards and did all those suggested items.
