11 Days | 10 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

We're arriving Lihue about 11:30 on the 11th. Anyone interested in sharing the Speedi-Shuttle?

Loretta Slusher Jan 16, 2014 at 04:45 PM

IM on th e march program. would like to share/meet another gal.I leave Seattle 3/11 to SF & depart SF 9:19 am to arrive in Lihue at 12:04 pm
Sally Thomas Feb 24, 2014 at 09:47 PM

Looking forward to meeting you at the start of the program. I'm not arriving until later on 3/11.

Sally Thomas Dec 31, 2013 at 05:58 PM

I'm on the March program. Arrive Lihue at 4:24pm on Hawaiian 183. Anyone want to share a ride to the hotel? Any woman want to talk about sharing a room?

Gail Fisher Dec 31, 2013 at 12:21 PM

I am so psyched about this trip and about meeting everybody in person! Coming from the east coast, this is very likely going to be my one and only trip to Hawaii. Can't wait!

Loyce Snyder Dec 28, 2013 at 06:52 PM

anyone else getting in Jan 3 around 9:30 PM?
Gail Fisher Dec 31, 2013 at 12:19 PM

I'm getting in at 12:45 on Jan 3rd. We've already reserved the SpeediShuttle directly to the hotel at 1:40. It was only $18.46 for two of us. For $40 more, we could have been greeted with leis, but I decided that sounded a little excessive!

Looking for others to share taxi to hotel Kauai - Lihue, Jan 4. We arrive 3:39pm
Barbara Pappy Dec 12, 2013 at 04:12 PM

Joanne, I am looking for several others to share a transfer to hotel at 12:45PM. The Speedy-Shuttle price is hugely less if you pre-pay for more than one passenger. The res can be adjusted outside of two hours before. Good luck and see you there!
Joanne Berven Dec 12, 2013 at 05:52 PM

Barbara, My husband and I are not arriving until 3:39. You would have to wait for us. I planned on making reservations with theKauai taxi service - recommended by RS. Joanne
Gail Fisher Dec 13, 2013 at 10:55 PM

Is anybody else arriving the day before? Arriving around 12:45 PM on Jan 3rd. Booked hotel for one night prior to the start of the tour.

Suzanne Talbott Oct 24, 2013 at 11:05 AM

Are there any women traveling solo on this program who might like to share a room?
Barbara Pappy Oct 26, 2013 at 09:09 AM

Suzanne, please confirm your dates. I'm doing backtobacks from Jan. 4 (1413) then Jan 13 (2810). I would like to share my LAX Hilton hotel room on Jan. 3. THX, Barbara - bapa46@gmail.com

Niihau while we're in Kauai for the trip? It is operated by Niihau Helicopters by the owners of the island---the Robinson family----and helps to subsidize the cost for emergency operations, gives a unique opportunity to enjoy/appreciate this special heritage while yet protecting the privacy of the islanders. If so, let me know! Thanks!-----Bill Clark: wlclark@webtv.net
Gail Fisher Dec 13, 2013 at 10:54 PM

That sounds interesting - how much time would it require and where would it fit in our itinerary?
William Clark Dec 14, 2013 at 01:53 AM

Hi, Gail,
William Clark Dec 14, 2013 at 01:55 AM

The trip tp Niihau is operated by Niihau Helicopters and there is a website. It would take up a day and I'm not sure yet which day it would be in Kau'i
Gail Fisher Dec 31, 2013 at 12:20 PM

Not sure I want to give up a whole day from the trip.
