Road Scholar
Program #20651RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

is a participant list available?

Can you tell me if a coat and tie is frequired/recommended for any of the activies of this program?
Road Scholar Feb 18, 2014 at 05:49 PM

For day 5 (Friday night dinner and final concert) men should wear dress slacks and shirt--tie and coat optional. For the ladies a dress, skirt, or pants, blouse or blazer is fine. Otherwise the dress is casual with jeans, twills, capris, shorts (if warmer), tees, casual tops. Tennis shoes and/or sturdy walking shoes will be essential. I think tennis shoes would be best for the folk dancing lessons. The Ramada has a pool and a sauna, so swim attire is a good idea.

Is this program attracting a great deal of interest? We have another possibility (not a Road Scholar) that begins two days after this ends. This program is our preference, but if it does not happen, we would take advantage of the other option. Is there a go -- no go -- date?
