9 Days | 8 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Is a sports jacket or blazer necessary for men in Cuba (12/25-1/1 trip)?
Frank Feigert Dec 14, 2014 at 02:42 PM

No.

Kathleen M Dec 11, 2014 at 12:52 AM

Just checked with AT&T and they don't have reliable roaming in Cuba but if there is wifi anywhere that you can access you can use your phone for data and iMessages within your regular plan.

Any others going on the January 21st Cuban Evolution in the Arts trip?
Thomas Bruno Dec 06, 2014 at 07:06 AM

Hi Eloise: Tom Bruno & Beth Matthias of Champaign, Illinois, will be on the January 21, 2015, Cuba Arts trip. Looking forward to it.
Eloise Mares Dec 07, 2014 at 06:32 PM

Hi Tom, So far it seems like you, your wife, and I are the only ones that I am aware of so far for our tour. Maybe the others aren't posting here.

Barry Lindley Nov 30, 2014 at 12:47 PM

Frank Feigert Nov 30, 2014 at 02:48 PM

Michael. We just got back a month ago from a great Cuba trip. Visited 3-4 artists including Fuster's studio. You will have ample opportunity to buy (not to pricey) art.

michael hurwitz Nov 25, 2014 at 11:49 AM

we are going on the 12/10 trip to cuba and are interested in buying some art (not too pricey); we have some artists' names but have no idea how to contact them. Any suggestions re reliable sources would be appreciated. Do we visit some known artists who sell their work? Mike and Nancy Hurwitz, Naples FL mikenan@comcast.net
Frank Feigert Nov 25, 2014 at 12:35 PM

You will have ample opportunity to meet a wide variety of Cuban artists, including those who are eager to sell. Your local trip leader will help to put you in contact with those you wish to meet.

Good day. I am booked on the Christmas trip. Anyone going on that one?
Kathleen M Nov 24, 2014 at 07:17 PM

Odd it didn't print my name, it's Kathleen Milnes.

Eloise Mares Nov 22, 2014 at 06:25 PM

Are we allowed to bring any alcohol for personal consumption into Cuba such as a bottle of wine, etc.?
Frank Feigert Nov 22, 2014 at 06:53 PM

I am not aware of any restriction, but why take a chance? Beside, alcohol is readily available in Cuba.
