Program #20031RJ
11 Days | 10 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I am looking forward to the leaf peeping trip beginning Sept. 29. I'll be in Boston the weekend before and interested in whether anyone else wants to check out the "Duck Tour" on Saturday.

Jan Yarnot Aug 06, 2014 at 02:31 AM

I'm getting excited... in 2 months I'll be boarding a red-eye to get to Boston on the 6th.
Jan Yarnot Aug 13, 2014 at 09:29 PM

Any other geocachers going on this trip?

Jan Yarnot May 07, 2014 at 04:47 PM

I'll be going on this trip October 6-16th 2014, and would love to hear from others.
Janet Townsend Jun 23, 2014 at 06:27 PM

I am on this trip; arriving day ahead, late afternoon/evening. Anyone interested in sharing a cab?
Jan Yarnot Aug 13, 2014 at 09:28 PM

I'm taking a red-eye from Sacramento and will be arriving a few hours early (I hope: I have a couple of things I'd like to see in the area.) Taking the GoShuttle to the hotel.

I am taking this trip starting Sept 21st. Would love to hear from others taking the trip earlier. I have taken & enjoyed several RS trips so hope to enjoy this one, too.

Looking forward to meeting others on this program. Mike and I will be in Deer Isles, Maine 3 days before program begins. We'll arrive at hotel early on the 15th so let us know if you want to get together.

Greetings to all 9/29-10/9 "Best Fall Foliage in New England" participants. I am traveling to Boston from Chicago on AMTRAK 9/27-9/28 to have day in Boston before tour starts. Anyone else going to be in Boston for day on 9/29? Wanted to have more time to explore Freedom Trail before tour. Looking for others who would like to join me. Staying at Hyatt Regency night of 9/28. what are the chances of getting a spot (09/29 - 10/09) if it is "waiting list only"??? Must I pay anyway if no spot? Is one day enough for the Shelbourne Museum?
Road Scholar Aug 01, 2012 at 04:31 PM

This program takes up to 38 people, and there is currently nobody on the waitlist. If you want to go on the waitlist, you do have to put a deposit down. One full day is spent at the Shelburne Museum, and this should be adequate time to experience what the museum has to offer.
