I will be driving back to Portland on Friday afternoon if anyone needs a ride in that direction. Be prepared to do some birding/sightseeing along the way!

Took me forever to find this page a second time. I have connected with Diana about driving up to Seattle after the program. I will be happy to take others as well. I have explored the OR coast with my family, but not as a bird-focused activity. I'm looking forward to learning more about the local birds. See you all soon!

I will be driving up the coast from Gold's Beach on Sunday. What "must see" shouldn't I miss?

Ann Plauzoles Aug 24, 2014 at 10:28 PM

Will the Harlequins be there?

I would love to see harlequins too!

Just a thought for those attending this program: Sat., Sept. 6, out of Coos Bay, there is a 5 hours pelagic birding boat trip. Check thebirdguide.com if you are interested. As of today there are two spots left.

Looking for a roommate for this program. Also to share ride or rental car. Anyone going up towards Seattle after the program?

Jean Reger Apr 04, 2014 at 09:55 AM

Looking to share a ride/rental car for this trip.
Diana Churchill Jul 01, 2014 at 01:47 PM

I am interested in sharing a rental car. I will be arriving Portland on Friday night the 5th, staying with a friend and hoping to share a rental car or ride on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 7th
Jean Reger Jul 01, 2014 at 03:04 PM

Diana, I wish I had heard from you sooner, but I have since made plans that won't mesh with yours. I am flying in on Friday and heading down the coast. I have made plans for a pelagic boat tour on Sat. that goes out of Coos Bay. Sat. night I have reservations there and will be driving from there on Sun.
