My wife and I are on the September 24-October 2nd trip. Anyone else going at the same time?
Kathleen Buckley Sep 17, 2015 at 01:26 PM

Yes, I will be on the same trip. Leaving from JFK.

Anne Marie Conard Sep 04, 2015 at 12:54 PM

Hello, I am leaving for my Sept 10th trip and saw that there is a major Farmer's protest with tractors interfering with major Paris sights. How will this impact my trip?
Jacquie Fowler Sep 04, 2015 at 02:39 PM

I wouldn't worry about it. Your tour leader will know how to work around any possible interferences. Many of the areas you visit will not be in the section where demos will be happening. Enjoy-- its a great trip!

Hello, we are going Sept.3rd trip and extending 2 days in Paris after Sept.11-13 - is anyone else doing staying longer? We are from California.

Peggy Rush Aug 24, 2015 at 07:18 PM

We are going Sept.17-25th. Meeting with private guide on afternoon of Sept.22nd. to tour WW!! route, since my Dad was killed along this path.Anyone else interested??We could share the cost--it is the same price for one or six.Something to think about and we could discuss when we meet later.

I am going on Oct 1-9 Paris and Normandy trip. Just wondering if anyone else is on that trip that lives in the Raleigh NC area.

Yes, I'm on the Sept 3 trip. This is my first overseas trip with RS, but the other RS seminars I've attended have been very good, so I have high hopes for this one.

Barbara Sweat Jul 31, 2015 at 02:14 PM

Is anyone scheduled for Sept. 3 trip? First RS trip for husband and me. We are a little concerned re "moderately" challenging!
Carol Hitchie Jul 31, 2015 at 05:28 PM

There is no assistance walking, walking on some cobbled streets, walking tours of various parts of Paris and among the hilly region of Normandy Beach.

I went last September--great trip. The streets of Paris and the small towns in Normandy are cobblestone, so you have to pay attention to what your feet aredoing. Sturdy shoes are a must. Also, the steps leading in and outof the subways are fairly steep. Mont St. Michel is wonderful, but also requires walking on cobblestone streets, then about 244 steps to get up to the Abby. All of this is manageable, but I suppose that depends on what you are used to.

We have tickets for the Eiffel Tower and Louvre that day. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
