My husband and I just confirmed our plans for the Jan 21-February 4 trip. This looks like a really special trip.
Arthur Lieb Nov 23, 2015 at 04:59 PM

It is. Just a few minutes ago I viewed my pictures. Just take good shoes.
Mary Holmes Nov 23, 2015 at 05:00 PM

Linda you and your husband will have a great time. If Julio is you guide he will make sure your every need is met. Have a wonderful time.
Linda Bartlett Nov 23, 2015 at 05:08 PM

Thank you. We will be sure to pack our good walking shoes.

Please help re question for this trip: I get sea sick easily and there are boat rides day 2,4 and 7. Are they smooth or choppy? If I must avoid one or two boat rides, then should I take this tour or find another? Thank you VERY much. Alice Saffren
Mary Holmes Aug 18, 2015 at 05:19 PM

I don't think you have to worry about sea sickness. These boat rides are on lakes that stay pretty smooth. I don't think the rides would be very long in length. I get sea sick as well but only on the ocean. I think you'll be fine and probably so busy visiting with others and watching the scenery you won't be thinking of being sick. If you're worried about it ask your doctor for a sea sick patch for those days.

Your words are reassuring! Have a fantastic time in October!

Mary Holmes Jul 31, 2015 at 04:45 PM

I'm schedule the Oct 15, 2015 trip. Been to Belize and Guatemala before but Copan is on my bucket list so this is a must do. Flying out of LAX on the 14th of Oct. Looking forward to this trip with my wonderful sister in law.

Roxanne Murner May 22, 2015 at 09:43 AM

I'm looking for a roommate for the Jan. 14-28 trip. If interested, we can email back and forth to get to know each other. Possibly phone calls.

If you've finished the book you read on the airplane or have extra luggage room for books, please donate them to the Belize Public Library which is on the same street as the hotel in Belize City, but on the opposite side of the street. I visited the library while on vacation several years ago and don't think the situation has probably changed much since then. They can use your help, especially children's books. Another Ms Williams was librarian at the time. If the library is closed, perhaps someone at the hotel would take the books down. Have a good trip. I'm hoping to take it another year.
