We are Quakers, and know something of the history of Quakerism, and that Mother Ann Lee had come out of the Quakers originally. Am hoping to learn some of the healthy things about her, this strange spirit, Mother Ann. We are also interested in herbs, and gardens. I am hoping that our Quaker experience and study will not bias us against the dancing, and that we can participate. Have seen Hancock Shaker Village in the Berkshire Mountains, ... and loved that with my kids back 30 years ago even. Also, as college professors, we are interested in Berea College and its projects, faculty, ... possible contacts there. Might there be time for that? or an "opening" ? Hoping knees and sore feet won't prevent lots of stair climbing. Can it sometimes be avoided if issues arise? Who else is coming? Will there be music, or should be bring our Plymouth Church of Shaker Heights recording of Shaker pieces we like, e.g., "Come Life, Shaker Life, Come Life Eternal... Shake, shake out of me all that is carnal." (not that we don't also like the carnal in its place at times._) I need a pool to do aquaerobis sometimes. Is there a pool in any of our accommodations? Thanks!
