We are attending the August 23rd program, driving from Maryland after visiting family in Surry, Maine.

I will attending the Aug 16th program. I will be driving there from New Jersey. Anyone else going?
Barbara Rozen Aug 05, 2015 at 05:09 PM

Hi Nancy, I'm attending the same program and I'll be flying from CA on the 15th and taking the shuttle the 16th.

Have you been on other Road Scholar trips? This is my second. In July , I went to the San Juan Islands in WA. It was great!

I think this is my 12th program. The first was to Baha for whales, also Alaska, SW Florida, and Costa Rica. Most have been for natural history and birding.
Barbara Rozen Aug 06, 2015 at 12:56 PM

Is there anyone else going from California?

My husband and I just signed up for the Aug 23 program. It's our first Road Scholar trip and we are very excited to see Maine and new birds - hopefully a Puffin, which would be a lifer for us!

It is our first program as well and we are really looking forward to it.

I am thinking of registering for the Aug 2015 trip. Is there a shuttle to/from the airport to the lodge?

Jean Reger May 31, 2015 at 10:14 AM

I am attending the Aug. 23/ 2015 program and will be arriving in Bangor on the 22nd. I would be interested in sharing a car. Is anyone else thinking of renting a car instead of using the shuttle?

Richard Mehl Jun 23, 2014 at 05:00 PM

I am attending the 8/24/14 program. I have a rental car for the transfer from Bangor to Campobello and back which I am willing to share. The only stipulation is that on departure day we must leave by 9 AM to catch a flight out of Bangor. Reply to Dick @ mehlad@comcast.net.
