EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Any other solo travelers booked for July 1 or 8 program? Nice to know I'm not the only "non-couple" person.

I'd like advice about clothing for the July trip. Usually wear jeans and lots of cotton, but these seem to be not good options...help, please!

Can anyone share their experiences with schedules on these trips? We are planning the Glacier one for Aug 20th, but am a bit hesitant about a tight schedule. Any idea when you must eat breakfast and depart for excursions?

My husband and I are arriving at midnight 8/5, spending the night at the Hampton Inn. Anyone looking for transportation to Kandahar Lodge on 8/6?
Lewis Hicks Jul 31, 2012 at 05:50 PM

Arriving at Kalispell airport at 12:30pm on Monday - 8/6/12 - looking to share a ride to Kandahar Lodge to save on transportation fees by sharing a ride on Flathead-Glacier shuttle co. Send email to lh.128ph@verizon.net.

We are arriving in Whitefish (from Seattle) on Amtrak Train #8 (Empire Builder) on Monday, August 20 (scheduled to arrive 7:26 am). Transport to Kandahar Lodge (Flathead-Glacier) is listed as $40 for first person and $3 each for additionals. Anyone want to join us as a "group" to save some $$$?

This look like a very popular program it which I would have liked to have participated. I waited to long to register for the program; as the majority of weeks are now on a waitlist. I think you should add more weeks in late July and August when snow conditions are less likely to alter the program.
