12 Days | 11 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Hi - we are Patricia and Carl from Long Island, NY. We will be on the July 8-19th trip and cannot wait to experience the national parks. Hope to meet people online before we go.
Betty Berry Mar 29, 2014 at 03:41 PM

I did this trip last July/August and while I enjoyed the trip, we spend a great deal of time on the bus. Also, our leader wasn't the best. He didn't know much about the areas in which we traveled although he was pleasant.

Warren Silbovitz Jul 19, 2013 at 11:31 AM

We will be on this trip starting July 30th. We are from the Boston area and were wondering where others are coming from.

Ann Abernathy Jul 18, 2013 at 04:40 PM

How do I get into the social network for trip # 20524?

Eugene Allison Jun 17, 2013 at 04:58 PM

We are the Allison's, Phyllis and Gene. We are going on July 16th and would like to learn something about those who will be sharing this experience with us.

Hi, I am Betty Berry and traveling with Sally McPhillips. We both live in small towns in Southern NJ. This trip will be my 32nd. Look forward to meeting you. Where are you from?
Eugene Allison Jun 18, 2013 at 04:02 PM

We currently live in a place called The Villages, which is Lake Sumter, Florida. We came here 9 years ago from Readind, PA. Many years ago we lived in North West New Jersey.
