I found that renting a car using AARP was less costly than taking the $125/per way shuttle from Kalamazoo.

Looking forward to attending the October class.

My nme is Tirzah, not Linda. I chose to change in January of this year.

Hello, I am going to join the October series. Do I bring my sewing machine and supplies? I am a beginner.
Tirzah Heywood Aug 30, 2015 at 05:00 PM

You need to bring your machine. The program directors are supposed to send us a list of other needed items. I used to quilt but haven't for a long time. I'll be joining you in the beginners group because methods have changed since I quilted. I'm Tirzah and live in Tempe, AZ. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

I will be flying into Kalamazoo and need a ride. Can anyone help me? I am an intermediate quilter and really excited to attend the May workshop. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Judy North Mar 26, 2013 at 04:14 PM

I will be driving from Wisconsin-probably via Badger car ferry. My quilting skills are limited. I am looking forward to a week to rekindle my sewing interests.

Kim Kimble Mar 19, 2013 at 06:19 PM

My friend and I are going to be attending this event. Just wondering who else is coming? We are attending in May. My name is Kem (kim) and my friend is Liz We are coming from Saranac which is close to Grand Rapids. We are just learning to quilt. How about you others?

Virginia Schenzinger Mar 02, 2013 at 05:01 PM

I will be driving from the Chicago/Oak Park area if anyone is interested in a ride. If so leave a message on the discussion board. Virginia Schenzinger

Planning to fly into Kalamazoo, but I can get a good deal on a non-stop to Chicago Midway, if you'd be interested in picking me up at the airport. Nancy Hess from Kansas

Can you e-mail some contact info to Jinnys@AOL.com. Let see if we can make the logistics work. Virginia Schenzinger
