8 Days | 7 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderately Challenging
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

My husband and I are going on the June trip. We live in NH. Would like to know other people going on this and where you are from.

Looking for a roommate for the 10/11 trip.

Anyone interested in knowing more about the Katy Trail will enjoy "The Complete Katy Trail Guidebook" by Brett Dufur. Brett live in Rocheport, and writes about the trail and all the towns and points of interest along its length. You will probably find it in your local library.

So? Anyone have any good tips for this trip?
Wayne Byrd Sep 30, 2013 at 10:31 PM

Weather is very changeable. Highs this week in 80's; early next week in 60's. Dress in layers.

I've talked to folks who have done the trip in the past...they LOVED it!! We are going 10/5-10/12. BJ

My wife Anne and I have ridden bits and pieces of the Katy, but never almost the full length. I'm impressed with how Road Scholar has laid out the trip; mileages, accommodations, logistics, etc. If the weather cooperates, it should be great fun.

Edwin Brawley Mar 27, 2013 at 06:13 PM

Is anyone else going?
Doug Gordon Apr 01, 2013 at 07:15 PM

I'm on the May trip. Hoping to hear soon with more details about the schedule, etc.
